Community Gateway
Back to GatewayEach year, students, faculty, staff, families, and friends gather to recognize the incredible work of our student artists and performers across all grade levels. This year’s show was no exception, offering a dynamic and memorable showcase of the arts in all their forms—from painting, drawing, and sculpture to dance, acting, singing, and musical performances.

The evening highlighted the extraordinary range of talent within the St. Stephen’s community. Students captivated the audience not only with their technical skill, but also with their creativity, passion, and willingness to share their artistic voices. Whether through visual storytelling, live performance, or music, each piece reflected the hard work and dedication of our students.
A particularly special highlight of this year’s program was a beautiful live musical performance on Wednesday, June 3, featuring several of our talented teachers alongside local professional musicians. Together, they performed a selection of classical pieces showcasing the flute, violin, and piano, creating a moving and elegant experience for the audience.
The evening also featured an exciting debut by Grade 11 IB student Taylor W.V., who performed his new single for the St. Stephen’s community. His performance added a contemporary and deeply personal artistic element to the program, further demonstrating the breadth of talent within our student body.

This performance was especially meaningful as it marked Ms. Muti’s final appearance on the St. Stephen’s stage. Her exceptional flute playing has enriched countless school performances over the years, and her musical contributions have left a lasting impression on the community. She will be greatly missed, both as a musician and as an inspiring presence in the arts at St. Stephen’s.
This year’s event was made even more special thanks to recent upgrades to the school auditorium. Our meeting hall was transformed into a true state-of-the-art theater space, complete with new curtains, enhanced lighting, and upgraded stage props. These improvements elevated the performances and created a professional, immersive experience for both performers and audience members alike.
The success of the Spring Arts Show would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of both the Visual Arts Department and the Performing Arts Department. Their thoughtful planning, countless hours of preparation, and commitment to nurturing student creativity made this annual tradition another resounding success.

Most importantly, the event provided a meaningful platform for students to shine, express themselves, and share their talents with the wider community. The Spring Arts Show continues to remind us of the vital role the arts play at St. Stephen’s—fostering imagination, confidence, collaboration, and connection.
Congratulations to all of our student artists and performers for an outstanding show, and thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a memorable celebration of the arts.
