St. Stephen’s students have plenty of ways to pursue their interests beyond the classroom this year.
The School recently announced 46 student clubs for the 2026–27 school year, reflecting the extraordinary range of interests, talents, and ideas within the St. Stephen’s community. Students can test their strategy skills in Chess, explore the past through History, debate global issues in Model United Nations, experiment and build through Robotics, or pursue interests in Cooking, Literature, music, service, and a wide range of other academic, creative, cultural, and recreational activities.
Clubs are an important part of student life at St. Stephen’s, giving students the opportunity to explore something new, deepen an existing passion, meet classmates with similar interests, and take an active role in the life of the School. Some clubs are academic in focus, others creative, cultural, recreational, or service-oriented—but all provide another setting in which students can learn, collaborate, and contribute.
Just as importantly, the list is never considered finished.
If students do not find the club they are looking for, they are encouraged to create one themselves. With the support of a faculty advisor, students can turn an idea into a new community, inviting others to participate and helping shape the extracurricular life of the School.
That spirit of initiative is central to the St. Stephen’s experience. Students are encouraged not simply to participate in school life, but to help define it—bringing their own interests, perspectives, and creativity to the community around them.
With 46 clubs and counting, there is plenty to discover this year—and undoubtedly a few new ideas still waiting to become St. Stephen’s next club.
