Community Gateway
Back to GatewayThis year marked a special change in tradition, as the school held two separate Prize Day celebrations—one for Grades 11 and 12 prior to graduation, and an additional ceremony dedicated to Grades 9 and 10. This allowed for a more focused opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of students at every stage of their St. Stephen’s journey.

During the ceremony, students were honored with a variety of awards reflecting both academic excellence and meaningful contributions to the school community. Book awards were presented to students who demonstrated outstanding achievement in individual subject areas, while certificates were awarded for accomplishments in service learning as well as honorable mentions across disciplines.
Several students also received special recognition in specific subject areas, including medals for strong performance on the National Latin Exam, which took place earlier this year. These awards highlighted not only academic success but also the dedication and perseverance students demonstrated throughout the year.
In addition to academic awards, students were nominated by their teachers for the prestigious 5 Pillars of SSS Awards, which celebrate the core values that define the St. Stephen’s community. These awards recognize students who exemplify excellence in the school’s five guiding principles:
The 5 Pillars Awards serve as a meaningful reminder that success at St. Stephen’s extends beyond the classroom. They celebrate students who demonstrate compassion, intellectual curiosity, strong character, self-reliance, and innovative thinking in their daily lives.
Prize Day was a wonderful opportunity to honor the many achievements of our Grade 9 and 10 students and to celebrate the growth they have shown throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of all of our students and look forward to seeing their continued success in the years ahead.
