The week provided meaningful opportunities for students to reflect on their journey, connect with the community, and create lasting memories before embarking on their next chapter.
One of the most cherished recent additions to Senior Week is the Senior Breakfast, held on the St. Stephen’s terrace on the morning before graduation. This special gathering offered a beautiful, intimate moment for the seniors to come together with faculty and staff one last time on their final full day on campus.
As each senior entered the terrace, they were welcomed individually with warm applause from faculty and staff—a heartfelt gesture recognizing not only their accomplishments, but also the unique mark each student has left on the St. Stephen’s community.
The breakfast was more than an opportunity to enjoy a delicious morning snack and share conversation. Each senior also received a small keepsake gift as a reminder of their time at St. Stephen’s. In one of the most meaningful moments of the morning, students were invited to write a short letter to their future selves, to be opened at their five-year reunion.
This thoughtful tradition encouraged reflection, gratitude, and hope for the future, allowing students to capture their thoughts, dreams, and aspirations at this pivotal moment in their lives.
The celebrations continued with one of the seniors’ final evenings together at Prom, held under the stars at a beautiful private villa along the Appia Antica. Set against the backdrop of a warm Roman spring night, the event offered a magical setting for students to celebrate this important milestone.
With delicious food, music from a private DJ, and plenty of dancing, the evening was filled with laughter, joy, and nostalgia. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate the friendships they had built and the memories they had created throughout their high school years.
As Senior Week came to a close, these special moments served as meaningful reminders of the deep bonds formed at St. Stephen’s and of the transformative journey each student has experienced. While graduation marks the end of one chapter, it also signals the beginning of exciting new adventures. We are incredibly proud of our seniors and look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the years ahead.
